Xbox360版＆PSP版『ウイニングイレブン』イメージキャラクター決定
KONAMIの人気サッカーゲーム『ウイニングイレブン（以下、ウイイレ）』シリーズの新作2タイトルでイメージキャラクターを務める選手が決定した。PSP用ソフト『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン10 ユビキタスエヴォリューション』は中村俊輔選手（セルティック所属）、Xbox 360用ソフト『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブンX』はアドリアーノ選手（インテル所属）となる。
PSP用ソフト『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン10 ユビキタスエヴォリューション』には、プレイヤーがチームのオーナー・監督となって最強のチームを作り上げる「マスターリーグ」が、携帯機版『ウイイレ』としては初めて搭載された。また、パスやシュートなどの基本操作をはじめとして、スーパーキャンセル機能などの各種操作が追加され、さらに奥深い対戦が可能となっている。
そして、次世代機で発売される初の『ウイイレ』となるのが、Xbox 360用ソフト『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブンX』。グラフィックはすべて新規に描き起こされており、選手の表情やモーションがよりリアルに再現されている。また、「Xbox Live」によるオンライン対戦にも対応しており、ボイスチャットを使った臨場感あふれる勝負が楽しめるとのこと。
