「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」の世界で冒険できるPCゲーム発売

　エレクトロニック・アーツは、PC用ACT『EA Express The Lord of The Rings： Conquest』を、2009年1月22日に発売する。

　本作は、映画「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」の世界で“フロド”が「一つの指輪」の破壊に失敗した後のオリジナルストーリーを題材にしたACT。「善」あるいは「悪」の軍勢を率いて、キャンペーンモードやソロプレイ、オンラインプレイなどを行える。プレイヤーは、状況やプレイスタイルに応じて自由にキャラクターを切り替えることが可能で、手に汗握る戦闘シーンを独自の戦略で追体験できる。

プレイヤーは、状況に応じて戦士、射手、魔法使い、忍びの者を自由に選択可能。オンラインプレイでは、陣営を選んで最大16人での激戦に参加したり、最大4人での協力型キャンペーンモードを楽しんだりできる。
