米ゲーム業界の編集者40人による、GAMECRITICSAWARDBESTOFE32002発表

　米国のゲーム誌やオンライン媒体、新聞などの40人の編集者が、E3に出展された優秀なタイトルを決める「GAME CRITICS AWARD BEST OF E3 2002」の投票結果が発表された。この賞は最高のタイトルに贈られるBest of Showを含め、17の部門が用意されている。

　海外ではXbox『HALO』がミリオンを達成したように、主観視点STGは非常に人気のあるジャンルのひとつ。そういったこともあり、日本ではあまり注目されなかった『DOOM』シリーズ最新作『DOOM III』が高い評価を得る結果となった。
