米国の学術研究団体AIAS、InteractiveAchivementAwardsを発表
米国のゲーム開発会社、開発者が会員の学術研究団体「Academy of Interactive Art&Sciences（AIAS）」は、今年で6回目を迎える優秀なゲームを評価する賞「Interactive Achievement Awards」の授賞式をラスベガスで開催した。これは、ラスベガスで2月末に行われたゲームクリエイターのためのイベント「D.I.C.E Summit」の開催に合わせて行われたもの。
この賞はジャンルごとの部門賞の他、サウンド、グラフィックなどの部門賞も用意され、大賞にはGame of the Yearが授与される。
今年の「Interactive Achievement Awards」だが、なんとEAの作品が13の部門賞を獲得、さらにGame of YearもEA『Battlefield 1942』が受賞という結果となった。それぞれの賞を獲得したタイトルは以下の通り。
