海外人気ゲーム『Xboxワールドコレクション』シリーズに新作2タイトル追加
マイクロソフトは、『Xboxワールドコレクション』シリーズの新作2タイトル『Metal Arms:Glitch in the System』と『Tony Hawk’s Underground』を5月20日に発売する。
『Metal Arms』は、銃の扱いに優れたDroidロボット“Glitch”を操り、40のミッションを戦い抜くアクションゲーム。最大4人まで参加できるマルチプレイでは、7種類のモードが用意されている。
一方、『Tony Hawk’s Underground』はシリーズ初のストーリーモードを搭載したスケートボードゲーム。スケーターの頂点を目指しながら、車の上や屋根の上を滑ったりというストリートライフを楽しめる。また、最新「Create-a-Trick」機能を使用して自作のトリックを組み立てられる他に、「パークエディター」で家や電柱などのパーツを配置して自分だけのスケボーパークを作成することが可能だ。
今回の新タイトル発売により『Xboxワールドコレクション』販売タイトルは計17作品に。いずれもゲームの内容は英語のままだが、取扱説明書とパッケージは日本語仕様になっているので、海外ゲームに興味がある人はぜひ遊んでみよう。
