10,000台の限定販売！Xbox360に「2006FIFAWORLDCUP」特別パッケージが登場
マイクロソフトは、サッカーの世界大会「2006 FIFA ワールドカップ ドイツ大会」の開催を記念して、アディダスとのコラボレーショングッズを同梱したXbox 360の特別パッケージ「Xbox 360 Blue Limited Edition：2006 FIFA WORLD CUP 公式家庭用ゲーム機」を4月27日に発売する。
このパッケージには、通常のXbox 360の内容物の他に、「Xbox 360 フェイスプレート ～adidas コラボ モデル～」と「adidas コラボグッズ（バンダナ×2）」、そして4月27日にエレクトロニック・アーツから発売予定のXbox 360用ソフト『2006 FIFA ワールドカップ ドイツ大会』を同梱。販売台数は限定10,000台で、価格はオープンプライスとなっている。
今回マイクロソフトは、特別パッケージの発売にあわせ、この商品を購入した人を対象にプレゼントキャンペーンを実施する。
キャンペーンの内容は、特別パッケージに同梱されている応募ハガキで応募した人の中から、抽選で1,000名に「2006 FIFA World Cup レプリカ マッチボール」と「adidas コラボグッズ（スカーフタオル）」 のセットがプレゼントされるというもの。特別パッケージを購入する人は、忘れずにキャンペーンにも応募しておこう。
