「GT.com」でプロトタイプ『GTHD』の全容に迫る特集記事が公開
ポリフォニー・デジタルが手がけるドライビングシミュレーター『グランツーリスモ』シリーズの公式サイト「GRAN-TURISMO.com」がリニューアルオープンした。
リニューアル後の公式サイトでは、米・ロサンゼルスで行われた「SCEA プレスカンファレンス」および、「E3 2006」で公開されたPS3対応の最新プロトタイプ『グランツーリスモ HD』に関する特集記事「“PLAYSTATION 3” PROTOTYPE 『GRAN TURISMO HD』」を掲載。本作最大の特徴といえるフルHD解像度（1920×1080-60p）で描き出される映像などについて、詳しく説明されている。加えて、『グランツーリスモ HD』の最新スクリーンショットも多数公開。シリーズのファンは一度目を通しておくといいだろう。
『GT 4』をベースに、PS3に対応して制作されたプロトタイプ『GT HD』。特集記事では、これまでのシリーズタイトルと本作を1秒間あたりの情報量で比較するなど、『GT HD』を通してPS3の驚異的なスペックを垣間見ることができる。
