『ウイイレ2006AC』で「ヨーロッパカップ2008」開催決定
KONAMIのアミューズメント施設向けサッカーゲーム『ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン2006 アーケードチャンピオンシップ（以下、ウイイレ 2006 AC）』を使用した大会「ヨーロッパカップ2008」が、12月24日より開催される。
今回は、ヨーロッパカテゴリーに所属している各国の代表チームを対象とした大会となっている。アーケード版『ウイニングイレブン』の大会は今回で第8回を数えるが、『ウイイレ 2006 AC』を用いての大会はこれが最後になるという。
予選は12月24日9：00～30日23：59の期間中に、3連戦でのハイスコアを競う方式。決勝は12月31日9：00～2008年1月6日23：59の期間中に、5連戦でのハイスコアで争われる。なお、大会への参加には「e-AMUSEMENTPASS」が必要なので注意しよう。
また、同社のモバイルサイト「ウイニングイレブンモバイル」では、iモード用メガアプリ『ウイニングイレブンモバイル2』の無料体験版が配信されている。3Dグラフィックを採用し、よりリアリティが高まっている他、操作方法のフルカスタマイズが可能だという。「ウイニングイレブンモバイル」では、既報の通りソフトが当たるキャンペーンも行われているので、興味がある人はアクセスしてみるといいだろう。
