KONAMIは、明日1月24日にPSP用ソフト『ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン ユビキタスエヴォリューション 2008』を発売する。価格は5,229円（税込）。
世界中で大ヒットを飛ばす人気サッカーゲーム『ウイニングイレブン』シリーズの最新作が、PSPで発売される。搭載されるゲームモードは「ユビキタスエボリューション」シリーズでは最多となる9モード。「マスターリーグ」、「マッチ」、「ワールドツアー」、「リーグ」、「カップ」、「ワイヤレス」、「トレーニング」、「エディット」といった充実のゲームモードがプレイヤーを待っている。
注目は、選手の育成や獲得、交渉など、チーム運営を行いながらNo.1を目指す「マスターリーグ」。欧州07/08シーズンの開幕データと、新要素である「人気度」システムを搭載したPS2版と同様の仕様となっている。
PSPの特徴のひとつである「ワイヤレス対戦モード」も本作ではさらにパワーアップ。新搭載の「対戦待ち受け」機能により、通常のゲームモードプレイを続行したまま、対戦相手を募集し続けることができる。さらに、ゲーム中にPSPに取り込んだMP3音源を再生することも可能になった。自分のお気に入りの曲を聴きながらプレイすれば、熱中度が120％アップ!!
