『RACE DRIVER GRID』が英国アカデミー賞を受賞

　コードマスターズは、PS3/Xbox 360用ソフト『RACE DRIVER GRID（レースドライバーグリッド）』が、2009年度英国アカデミー賞のビデオ・ゲーム部門にて“ゲスト・スポーツ・ゲーム賞”を受賞したと発表した。

　本作は、ヨーロッパ、アメリカ、日本を舞台に、スリリングなバトルを楽しめるレースゲーム。プレイヤーはさまざまなレースに参加し、資金を得ていく。資金を集めて自分のチームを作れるようになれば、チーム評価に応じて、セカンドドライバーの雇用や新たな車種の購入、スポンサー契約などが可能となり、よりハイレベルなレースに参戦できる。

最大12名でのオンライン対戦も備えている『RACE DRIVER GRID』。なお、受賞インタビューの様子は、英国放送協会（The British Broadcasting Corporation）サイトで確認できるので、興味がある人は見てみよう。
