PS3/X360『バイオショック2』はディースリーから来年3月に発売

　ディースリー・パブリッシャーは、今冬発売予定としていたPS3/Xbox 360『バイオショック2』について、発売時期を2010年3月と発表した。

　『バイオショック』シリーズの第2弾にあたる本作は、シングルプレイとマルチプレイの両方を搭載するFPS（1人称視点シューティング）。舞台は前作と同様、海底都市・ラプチャーで、前作の物語から10年後が描かれる。プレイヤーは“ビッグダディ”となって、ラプチャーで生き抜くため、怪物による誘拐事件の答えを探すために戦うことになる。

　マルチプレイでは、ラプチャーの崩壊が起こった時代を舞台としており、プレイヤーはプラスミドとトニックを初めて扱った業者“シンクレア・ソリューションズ”のテスターとして戦うという設定だ。これまで描かれてきた時代よりも昔の出来事を体験することで、シリーズの世界観を深く知ることができるかも？
