　本作は、アメリカで人気のコミック『スパイダーマン』を題材にしたアクションゲーム。プレイヤーはスパイダーマンを操作して、コミックからインスパイアされたストーリーや、ヴィランたちとの戦いを体験していく。ビルの屋上や地下鉄など、コミックでおなじみのロケーションが舞台となる全12ステージを攻略しよう。

▲縛った敵を振り回す特殊攻撃や、屋上から屋上へのスイングなど、ウェブを使ったアクションが特徴の本作。敵となるヴィランも、サンドマン、ライノ、エレクトロ、ヴェノム、Dr.オクトパス、グリーン・ゴブリンといったキャラクターたちが登場する。
