セガは、iPhone/iPod touch用ACT『ゴールデンアックスIII』をApp Storeにおいて配信している。価格は350円（税込）。
『ゴールデンアックスIII』は、『ゴールデンアックス』の3作目にしてメガドライブシリーズの完結作。4人の勇者が剣と魔法を駆使して、魔王・ダムド＝ヘルストライクの討伐を目指すアクションゲームだ。
iPhone/iPod touch版では、Bluetoothを使って2人同時プレイが可能。協力攻撃や共同魔法など、2人プレイならではの楽しさが堪能できる。魔軍団との戦斧大戦を闘いぬいて、真のエンディングを目指そう。
