『ウォーハンマー40,000』を題材にしたTPSが2011年に発売

　サイバーフロントは、PS3/Xbox 360/PC用ソフト『Warhammer 40,000：Space Marine（ウォーハンマー40,000：スペースマリーン）（仮）』を2011年内に発売する。

　本作は、世界中で多くのファンを持つミニチュアバトルゲーム『ウォーハンマー40,000』の世界観を題材としたTPS。プレイヤーはウルトラマリーン戦団の中隊長として、工業惑星・グライアを死守することになる。オンラインに接続し、最大16人の対戦が可能なマルチプレイモードも実装している。

▲“スペースマリーン”とは、帝国に忠誠を誓うエリート戦士を指す。肉体改造を経て過酷な訓練を受け、驚異的な戦闘力、体力、そして精神力を備えている。

▲本作は、流動的戦闘システムを採用している。戦闘の流れを止めることなく、射撃攻撃から近接攻撃へとスムーズに移行できる。近接攻撃ボタンを押すと、近距離攻撃を行うと同時にカメラが引いた状態になる。

▲敵を倒していくと、“怒り”ゲージが上昇。ゲージがたまると、“精密射撃モード”や“怒りの一撃”など、特殊な攻撃を行える。
