土地神と精霊がつなぐ絆の物語――PS3版『涼風のメルト』が今冬に登場

■作品の世界観や設定

●御代街（みしろまち）

　主人公たちが暮らす街。街そのものの歴史は古いが、近年の都市計画に基づき山林が切り開かれ急激に発展。現在は郊外のニュータウンとなり人口が多く、都心部へのアクセスもよく本社を置く企業も少なくない。広大な森は未だに多くの面積を残しているが、開発により日々削られている。

　街には“精霊と土地神”にまつわる伝承が多く伝わり、森の破壊に難色を示す者も多い。現在は10年に一度の土地神祭の準備期間中のために、開発派も自然保護派も一丸となっている。

●御鷹ヶ丘学園（みたかがおかがくえん）

　主人公たちが通っている学園。“自然との調和”をテーマに設立された、自由な校風の進学校。特徴的な制服のデザインも相まって人気を集めている。敷地は森に囲まれていて、裏側からすぐ森に入ることができる。

●精霊

　森に暮らすとされる不思議な生き物。街の伝承に古くから登場し、土地神の側にいるという。どれだけ文明が進んでも、年に数例の目撃情報は絶えない。街では説明不可能なできごとが起こると、“精霊の仕業”として片付けられることも少なくない。

●土地神（とちがみ）

　一般的にはその土地に祀られた神であり、郷土の守り神。御代街にもそういった存在があり、多くの伝承が残っている。街の繁栄は土地神の加護のおかげとされていて、10年に一度、感謝の気持ちを届ける“土地神祭（とちがみさい）”が開かれている。

●禁足地

　土地神が森の中に張った結界によって守られた、精霊たちが暮らす場所。精霊たちが遊び、外の世界では絶滅してしまったような草花が一面を彩る。中央の湖には土地神が暮らす社がある。
