『XCOM： Enemy Unknown』が10月7日（11時）まで無料でプレイできる！ DLCを75％オフで購入できるSteamのキャンペーンも
PCゲームのオンライン配信サービス“Steam”では、Firaxis Gamesが開発したストラテジーゲーム『XCOM： Enemy Unknown』を無料でプレイできるスペシャルキャンペーンが開催中だ。期間は10月7日（11時）まで。週末だけの特別企画となっている。

『XCOM: Enemy Known』は、国際秘密機関“XCOM”の司令官となり、全世界への侵略をたくらむエイリアンから地球を守るべく戦う、ターン制のストラテジー。兵士ユニットを操作してさまざまなミッションクリアしていくのに加え、資源を管理して新たなテクノロジーの開発も同時に進めていくことになる。

無料期間中に本作を購入すると、そのままゲームプレイを継続することが可能。また、関連タイトルの『XCOM: Enemy Within』が11月15日にリリースされることを記念して、『XCOM： Enemy Unknown』の2つのダウンロードコンテンツが、75％オフのディスカウント価格で購入できるキャンペーンも実施中（10月8日11時まで）。
なお『XCOM： Enemy Within』の先行予約受付も行われており、リリース前に予約を済ませた人は、このタイトルを10％オフの価格で購入可能だ。
