累計1億本突破のサッカーゲーム最新作『FIFA 12』は10.20発売

　エレクトロニック・アーツは、PS3/PSP/Xbox 360用ソフト『FIFA 12 ワールドクラス サッカー』を10月20日に発売する。

　本作は、FIFA（国際サッカー連盟）公認のサッカーゲームで、世界で累計1億本以上を売り上げている人気シリーズの最新作。『FIFA 12』では、独自開発した物理エンジンを搭載し、ボールの競り合いやポジショニングの取り方など、リアルな動きがさらに追求されている。選手間の接触における各部位への衝撃を精密に計算しているため、より実際のサッカーに近い動きや負傷の表現が可能だという。

　守備ののシステムも刷新。“タクティカル・ディフェンディング”システムにより、自動でボールを追いかけてタックルするような単純な駆け引きではなく、戦術を意識した戦い方が可能になる。ドリブラーのスペースを消す、ドリブラーにプレッシャーをかける、一定の距離を保ちながらタックルのタイミングを計る、といったことが行える。
