ヒビキタケル：それとはコンセプトが全然違うけど、コードマスターズの『RACE DRIVER GRID（レースドライバーグリッド）』もリアル系寄りの爽快系RCGだと思う。登場するクルマは全部実車で、しかもダメージもしっかり再現されるので一見リアル系っぽいんだけど。クラッシュしたりカーブを曲がり損ねた時に時間を巻き戻すかのようにやり直しができる“フラッシュバック機能”が入っているので、爽快系かな。
YK3：私もXbox 360版で結構やりましたね。別名“人生やり直しシステム”（笑）。
ヒビキタケル：そう、それそれ（笑）。この機能がじつに便利で。まあ、これは回数制限があるし、どこでも何度でもってワケにはいかないんだけどね。で、オレがこのゲームで好きなのが“リトライの読み込みが早い”こと。最初にレースを始める時にコースデータを読み込んでから始めるので、同じコースをプレイする限り、ほぼ読み込みなしでリトライができる。海外メーカーの作品だけど、ローカライズもしっかりしてあってキチンと日本語でガイドしてくれるってのも好感触！
YK3：登場する秘書の声が声優の朴ろ美（ろ＝王偏に路）さんなんだよね。初めて聞いた時は、クールビューティな声でちょっとドキドキしちゃいましたよ（笑）。
ヒビキタケル：実際には声だけの出演だけど、すげえ美人そうなんだよなあ（笑）。
フェロモン：話が脱線してるな（笑）。むりやり話を戻すけど、オレは元気の『首都高バトル』シリーズも好きだな。ドリームキャストなんて『首都高バトル』と『2』しか遊んでなかったくらいだし。自分が実際に知っている場所を走れることや、走り屋同士のバトルという設定が熱かった。で、ストーリー性はあまりないんだけど、登場するライバルがどれも個性的で。“キャバ嬢の走り屋”という設定の娘が人気で……（笑）。勝負に勝つと細かいプロフィールが閲覧できて、それを見るのも楽しみだったなあ。開発スタッフがマンガの『湾岸ミッドナイト』が好きらしく、最後のボスに“悪●のZ”っぽいヤツが出てきた時は、こちらもかなりテンションが上がったよ。
YK3：後に本当に『湾岸ミッドナイト』を制作しちゃったくらいですからね。
フェロモン：まぁ、リアルさよりもとにかくアクセル1発、ドリフト1発、みたいな感じで、ガンガンぶっ飛ばしたいなら、爽快系RCGがオススメってことだね。ってか、うまくやればブレーキ使わなくても走れるのとかもあるし（笑）。
