【RCG特集】今こそレースを楽しもう！ RCGタイプ別オススメ座談会スタート！

■初心者でも大丈夫！　ワイワイ楽しみたいなら“レーシングバラエティ系”（2/2）

フェロモン：あと、このタイプではSCEの『爆走マウンテンバイカーズ』もおもしろかったな。マウンテンバイクでのダウンヒルレース（山下り）をするゲームなんだけど、ライバルをパンチでジャマしたりとかできて。途中には熊が出てくるとか、いいノリしてたなあ（笑）。

YK3：それ、過去に電撃オンラインの記事で実際にマウンテンバイクに乗ったレポートをやりましたね。まぁ古すぎて今はお蔵入りですが。……絶対に探さないでくださいね？

ヒビキタケル：電撃オンラインもいろんなことやってんなあ（笑）。RCGの本道ではないと思うけどスパイクの『爆走デコトラ伝説』シリーズも好きだった。AVGっぽいストーリーがあって、ライバルと1対1で勝負するとか。BGMは演歌だし（笑）。

フェロモン：昔ってストーリー性のあるRCGが多かったよね。アトラスの『峠MAX』やメディアリング『ゼロヨンチャンプ』シリーズなんかもおもしろかったな。

YK3：『ゼロヨンチャンプ』シリーズは、アルバイトなどのミニゲームもやたらと充実していて、そこも魅力でしたね。警備員のバイトでダンジョンを探索したりできました。

フェロモン：あったあった（笑）。そういえば、バンダイナムコゲームスの『ファミリージョッキー』シリーズやテクモの『ギャロップレーサー』シリーズなんかの競馬モノも、このタイプになると思うよ。

YK3：“レーシングバラエティ系”というだけあって、クルマ以外のレースもたくさんあるのがこのタイプの魅力ですよね。クルマについての知識もほとんどいらないですし、みんなでワイワイ楽しみつつ、レースも楽しみたいなら、このタイプで決まりだと思います！

■タイプごとに差はあれど……
